Welcome to our April News letter. Aprils results were about the same as every other April, proving to be hard. On the odd warm sunny days fish could be taken off the top or on zigs, otherwise it was stick it out on the bottom and take your chance.
Some of the shallower swims started to produce a fish or two, good early baits have been corn or boillies tipped with corn, so the best results came from pegs 4, 7, 12, 17 and 25.
For maggot anglers most pegs produced mainly perch, but roach and skimmers from pegs 2, 6 and 19. On the pole and maggot.
Tench and bream should soon start to show.
Having had our first bank holiday of the season, we were as expected very busy, may we take this opportunity to thank everyone who visited us for their conduct and respect for our lake. You all left the lake as you found it, and I may say so it was a pleasure having you all.
