Mays Newsletter
As you can see by the catch report for May the fishing has improved.
At the start of the month the weather was pretty crap with temps vairieng from day to day, which made it very difficult fishing, as the weather has improved and settled down and more consistant, the fishing has got better and improving.
As the weather gets warmer try fishing off the top, several types of floaters have taken fish, zig rigs set at about a foot from the surface with various pop-ups have also taken caught.
A new face to the lake Nigel Sealy went home after two nights with the 20plus hoody after catching a ghosty from peg 22 on a bottom bait prepared by himself, so well done to Nigel on his first session getting a hoody.
Baz caught the other 20lber and is already a hoody owner, he caught his on Rainbow Lake freezer boillies on peg 25.
Although there was two bank holidays in May and the lake was at full capacity, you all deserve a pat on the back for keeping the lake spotless, thanks.
