Quick update to let you know what is going on.
Due to the poor weather conditions, we were frozen up for 4 or 5 weeks, with only the odd day with out the white stuff. But a few brave soles have turned out, and Dave Chalk was the first to catch an 18lb 2oz mirror from Peg 22 using a chod rig with a white chocolate pop up, it looked just great in the snow this is the second year running that Dave has taken the first fish of the year out of the lake.
Then a new commer to the lake Dan who fished peg 11 after the ice had been broken, caught a lovely 17lb 8oz common at 4am. Dan is in the early stages of carp fishing and this is his PB, well done Dan and we hope to see you again soon, maybe a hoody next visit Dan.
Great start to the New Year.
